Orton Gillingham specifically addresses the learning needs of students with a language‐based learning disability, such as dyslexia, or who have word-level deficits and have not mastered the reading (decoding) and spelling (encoding) process.
Our Learning Specialists are trained to deliver direct, explicit instruction in the areas of reading and spelling. We offer lessons using research-proven methods that are personally tailored to meet each student’s individual needs. Moreover, we carefully monitor students’ progress, offering continual feedback and encouragement throughout the lesson. Your child's grades, and confidence will improve.

Multisensory instruction isn’t just for reading. It can also help children who have trouble with math. The use of sight, touch, hearing, and movement can make it easier to understand what numbers and symbols represent.

Handwriting- Students focus on using the proper pencil grip while writing,
along with forming their letters and words with appropriate size and spacing.
Compositional Writing- "Instruction in Fundamentals in the Sentence Writing
Strategy is appropriate for students who need a thorough grounding in basic
concepts and terms, such as "subject," "verb," or "infinitive." Fundamentals in
the Sentence Writing Strategy can be used as a developmental writing curriculum
or as a quick set of lessons to improve students' understanding of these concepts.
Our writing instruction begins with the basics, like writing a paragraph, continuing
all the way into advanced creative and essay writing. Students at any age will learn
how to nurture excellence in writing and thinking.
